Our AI doesn't just answer questions — it searches live inventory and builds real itineraries.
When people hear "AI travel assistant" they usually picture a chatbot that says things like "Great choice! Lisbon is a wonderful destination 🌞" before linking you to a generic search. That's not what we built.
Tool-augmented, not hallucinated
TripLike's AI agent is powered by a large language model connected to three real search tools:
- searchFlights — searches Duffel for live airline inventory, prices, and schedules
- searchHotels — searches LiteAPI for real hotel availability and rates
- searchPackages — searches both together and finds the best combined value
When you type "I want to go to Barcelona in August for a week, under €1,200 total", the agent doesn't guess. It calls searchPackages with your parameters, gets real results back, and presents the top options with actual prices you can act on.
Context-aware conversations
The agent maintains conversation context, so you can refine naturally. Say "the second one looks good but I'd prefer business class" and it goes back and searches again with cabinClass: "business". Say "what's the weather like there in August" and it uses our web search tool to answer.
From conversation to booking in two clicks
When you find an option you like, clicking the result card starts the checkout flow. The agent remembers what you selected. You fill in traveller details once, pay through a secure Stripe form, and you're done. The whole flow — conversation, search, select, book — is designed to feel like talking to a friend who's also a travel agent.
